Kenneth D. Miller, Jr. Obituary

Kenneth D. Miller, Jr., 54, of Utica, New York and formerly of Little Falls, New York, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, February 2, 2026.

He was born on October 13, 1971 in Little Falls, New York and is the son of Kenneth and Rosemary (Willoughby) Miller. Kenneth was educated at Brunswick High School in Georgia and graduated with the Class of 1989.

On October 20, 2001, Kenneth was united in marriage to Tammy Lynn Ropeter at the Newport Methodist Church in Newport, New York.

Kenneth was formerly employed at Feldmeier in Little Falls, New York as well as various construction sites in central New York in earlier years.

He was a member of the American Legion and the Polish Club, both in Little Falls, New York. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing darts and fishing. A father, son, husband, brother and grandfather, Kenneth will be greatly missed by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy L. Miller of Herkimer, NY; his parents, Kenneth and Rosemary Miller of TX; daughter, Destinee Miller of Ilion, NY; stepson, Michael Warn, Jr. of Frankfort, NY; grandchildren, Alivia Warn, Dominick Warn, Jaxon Leachman and Arya Warn; siblings, Roxanne (Miller) Hunt and her husband, Gene of Oppenheim, NY, and Ryan Miller of TX; brothers-in-law, Richard Ropeter and Robert Ropeter both of Herkimer, NY; sisters-in-law, Elaine Ropeter of Herkimer, NY and Lisa Ropeter and her fiancée, Edward LeFever of Schuyler, NY; several aunts, uncles, niece, nephews and cousins.

Kenneth was predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Earl and Wava Ropeter; a daughter-in-law, Courtney Miligy in April of 2025; and a brother-in-law, Wayne Ropeter.

Funeral services will be planned and held at a later date and time to be announced. The family is being cared for by locally owned and family operated, Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York 13329, Cremations and Funerals.
